Professional Maya Tutorials and Training
Maya appeared in 1998, but the story of its evolution began much earlier. Maya's predecessors are the "dinosaurs" of 80's and 90's computer graphics such as Power Animator from Alias, and other graphic design softwares. Initially, Maya was created for the professional workstations of Silicon Graphics, like its predecessors. At the turn of the millennium, it has become possible to install Maya on any personal computers. Over thirty years, animation algorithms have improved and, today, Maya offers the most convenient and flexible toolkit.

Currently, Maya and 3ds Max from Autodesk are so popular as Cinema 4D and Blender. But, there are several reasons why you should try Maya:
The tools (inherited by Maya from Power Animator and other glorious ancestors) have been used for decades. A good example is Graph Editor.
A reference structure that allows you to collect scenes from separate files. This greatly simplifies and speeds up the work in the studio.
The ability to create new tools (scripts) due to the built-in Mel language and Python support.

I decided to learn 3D modeling and I came across this site, Robius. I found the material to be presented in a good and clear way, the course I've taken was very exciting. There are a lot of possibilities and options in Maya, that's why I really like it.
After 10 years of design experience, I decided to try 3D modeling for myself. From the first lessons I realized that it is quite difficult, but I enjoy learniing process and discovering new things. The course is easy to understand, every lesson I've taken has taught me new things. In Maya, I especially like the interface and tools. If you want to take this course, I advise you to be persistent and avoid errors when possible.
I accidentally opened the ROBIUS website and found the Maya basic course because my friend told me about 3D modeling. After completing the free lesson, I paid for a subscription. It was so exciting and fun, I completed the course within a month. It really wasn't expensive, I'm very excited and looking forward to new courses!
